Sharing corporate knowledge to maintain motivation in community group/support networks
Carolyn Daniel has one of the longest Landcare innings in the country 12 years as a Community Landcare Coordinator in the states southwest and now she wants to share this experience and insight.
'I am nearing the end of my final contract and am keen to assist communities to develop projects, and establish groups and networks of their own' said Ms Daniel.
'I believe that my story is useful to a wide range of groups across Australia, particularly natural resource managers. I want to give communities access to someone who has 'been there and done that' to give them confidence they are not alone'.
The Land & Water Australia Community Fellowship will provide financial support to Carolyn Daniel to run a series of workshops and seminars and to mentor and support some groups.
'The seminars will celebrate success, and give practical advice about the day to day activities such as project administration or advocacy' said Ms Daniel.
