Postgraduate Scholarships, Travelling and Visiting Fellowships

Land & Water Australia's Annual Call for Postgraduate Scholarship applications and Travelling and Visiting Fellowships is now open.

Funding is available to support postgraduate research scholarships commencing in 2006 that improve our understanding and ability to sustainably use and manage Australia's natural resources.

In past years, competition for Land & Water Australia scholarships has been very strong, and a high level of academic performance has been an essential requirement for success.

For more information about applying for a Land & Water Australia Postgraduate Scholarship visit the Postgraduate Scholarships 2006 page of our Apply for Funding section.

Funding is also available to assist aspiring and/or prominent researchers to travel and study overseas (Travelling Fellowships) to broaden their perspectives and enhance their skills and knowledge in areas relevant to natural resource management in Australia.

Visiting Fellowships by acknowledged research leaders from overseas is another approach that Land & Water Australia will consider funding. Such Fellows need to be nominated by an Australian researcher, resource manager or policy developer who will provide a key contact whilst in Australia.

Please note: Applicants for Postgraduate Scholarships and Travelling Fellowships must be permanent residents or citizens of Australia.
