Brad Pusey, Mark Kennard and Angela Arthington of the Centre for Riverine Landscape, Griffith University were announced joint winners of the 2005 Whitley Medal for their recent book 'Freshwater Fishes of North-Eastern Australia' (CSIRO Publishing). The research upon which much of the book was based was largely funded by Land and Water Australia.

Brad, Mark and Angela were delighted to receive the award at a ceremony on Friday 16th September at the Australian Museum in Sydney.
