The Managing Climate Variability Program (MCV) is looking for a highly motivated, creative and rural industry focused communication team to develop and deliver quality communication outputs.
The Managing Climate Variability Program 2008-2010 will build on more than a decade of research by its predecessors, the Managing Climate Variability Phase 1 and Climate Variability in Agriculture. These Programs were created to focus research investment on the important issues of climate variability and climate risk management for agriculture and natural resource management.
The Program is looking for a highly motivated, creative and rural industry focused communications team. The primary focus of this consultancy is the interaction between those undertaking the research and development and those who need or would benefit from R&D results. A proven track-record in communication in Australia, in particular with rural industry and government, is considered a must for this consultancy. Experience in communication of agribusiness risk management, particularly climate risk management, and seasonal climate forecasting products is highly desirable.
